About the Author
A. Christine is a Texas writer who enjoys fantasy, horror, and the supernatural, whether reading, writing, or watching. She graduated from Trinity University with a major in English. When she isn't writing, she spends her time making jewelry and desserts (not at the same time), singing, going to school to become a certified court reporter, and poking philosophical conundrums with sharp sticks.

Never Enough Time
Sometimes it’s easier to just say that you’ll write that novel when you have the time. What I learned really quickly was that there’s never enough time. So, like you have to do with just about everything you consider important, … Continue reading

Revisiting an Old Friend
I just opened up an old YA vampire novella I wrote for NaNoWriMo in 2005. (Oh my goodness, 2005, why does this happen to me?) I apparently thought I could sell a 46k word story as a novel at one … Continue reading

Fairy Tale Remix Week 2
Words written since Week 1: 7,465 15068 / 150000 words. 10% done! I originally wanted to reach 20k words, but I found myself writing less than anticipated during the week with some late school nights. However, I finished the second … Continue reading

Fiction Rule
The simplest way of explaining Fiction Rule is this: Art imitates life, but it’s not a perfect mimic. Fiction is like reality, but there are distortions. Sometimes it makes things look better; sometimes it makes things look worse. Fiction Rule … Continue reading
Fairy Tale Remix Week 1
Word count: 7,603 7603 / 150000 words. 5% done! That goal number is just a working goal – I don’t have to reach it, although I expect I might. This novel is more involved than anything else I’ve written so … Continue reading
Time Marches On
I’ll probably share stats every Sunday, given that weekends are my big opportunity to write these days. So here’s the thing: For a good six months, I have been exclusively doing school stuff, lots and lots of steno practice on … Continue reading
