About the Author
A. Christine is a Texas writer who enjoys fantasy, horror, and the supernatural, whether reading, writing, or watching. She graduated from Trinity University with a major in English. When she isn't writing, she spends her time making jewelry and desserts (not at the same time), singing, going to school to become a certified court reporter, and poking philosophical conundrums with sharp sticks.

This Ain’t a Fairy Tale V: All of Us
Miss Minchin: Don’t tell me you still fancy yourself a princess? Child, look around you! Or better yet, look in the mirror. Sara Crewe: I am a princess. All girls are. Even if they live in tiny old attics. Even … Continue reading

This Ain’t a Fairy Tale IV
I love this scene in Big Bang Theory. In fact, I just plain love Amy Farrah Fowler and think she’s a wonderful addition to the show and totally too good for Sheldon. This felt like such a true moment. Sheldon … Continue reading

This Ain’t a Fairy Tale III: Goodbye, Norma Jean
I remember a moment when I was a little girl, probably in second or third grade. I asked my mother – not in so few words – when I was going to get an hourglass figure. I was looking forward … Continue reading

End of 2013
Honestly, on a real-life, personal level, not a lot happened with me in 2013. At the beginning of last year, I had all these things that I’d accomplished and things that I’d tried, but 2013 was merely an extension of … Continue reading

I’ve been kind of absent short of WIP posts, and that’s a product of the latter quarter of the year being particularly busy for a variety of reasons, not to mention a few health scares for this chronic worrier. I … Continue reading

Word count: 76,316 words Words written since Week 3: 19,050 words So, WH is officially finished! At least as far as the first draft goes. And the award for longest, sloppiest denouement goes to… Seriously, my ending to the nightmare … Continue reading

Week 3: Femme Fighting (NaNo2013 Edition)
Word count: 57,266 words Words written since Week 2: 26,251 words That “words written since” is actually larger, because I deleted the first 4-some-thousand words that I had whited out for NaNo word count. It’s hard to believe that I’ve … Continue reading
