About the Author
A. Christine is a Texas writer who enjoys fantasy, horror, and the supernatural, whether reading, writing, or watching. She graduated from Trinity University with a major in English. When she isn't writing, she spends her time making jewelry and desserts (not at the same time), singing, going to school to become a certified court reporter, and poking philosophical conundrums with sharp sticks.

This Ain’t a Fairy Tale V: All of Us
Miss Minchin: Don’t tell me you still fancy yourself a princess? Child, look around you! Or better yet, look in the mirror. Sara Crewe: I am a princess. All girls are. Even if they live in tiny old attics. Even … Continue reading

This Ain’t a Fairy Tale IV
I love this scene in Big Bang Theory. In fact, I just plain love Amy Farrah Fowler and think she’s a wonderful addition to the show and totally too good for Sheldon. This felt like such a true moment. Sheldon … Continue reading

This Ain’t a Fairy Tale III: Goodbye, Norma Jean
I remember a moment when I was a little girl, probably in second or third grade. I asked my mother – not in so few words – when I was going to get an hourglass figure. I was looking forward … Continue reading

This Ain’t a Fairy Tale II :: Costumes
I’m a child of the classic Disney generation. Most of the present generation will know Disney/Pixar animation, but not the best of the Disney fairy tale days. We all know there’s some problematic elements to the Disney movies (what popular … Continue reading

Word count: 183,984 words Words written since Week 12: 13,722 words I’m officially finished with FTR2. I celebrated with pizza, and tomorrow I’m having a frappuccino, although I really need to work on my coffee habit now that the opus … Continue reading

Word count: 170,262/175,000 words Words written since Week 11: 19,838 words As you can see, my school break gave me a great opportunity to make a big jump ahead, and not only did I write my 20k words this week, … Continue reading

Word count: 150,424/175,000 words Words written since Week 10: 13,359 words Well, look at that. I crossed 150k and I’m still going. Milestone, but not quite as exciting as The End. I saved my extra two thousand words written two … Continue reading

Word count: 122,113/150,000 words Words written since Week 8: 17,069 words And I thought the Marguerite stand-alone chapter was long. This last chapter ended up even longer, although I suspect that’s because I didn’t know exactly where I was going … Continue reading
